The flykantech.com UHOST-C USB MIDI Host is a device that allows you to connect USB MIDI devices to hardware instruments or other MIDI devices that use the traditional 5-pin DIN MIDI connections. USB MIDI hosts are commonly used in music production and live performances to connect USB MIDI Controllers, keyboards, and other devices to synthesizers, drum machines, and other hardware instruments with 5-pin MIDI ports.

With a flykantech.com UHOST-C USB MIDI host, you can also connect USB MIDI devices to software sequencers and other digital audio workstations (DAWs) without the need for a computer. This enables musicians and producers to create music on the go or in a live setting with a streamlined setup, while maintaining high-quality sound and performance. In addition, USB MIDI Hosts are used in various industries such as home automation, lighting control, and robotics, where USB MIDI devices are used to control different systems and devices.

Compatibility - Standard MIDI compliant devices are supported.Some Complex MIDI devices use a built-in USB Hub. These MIDI devices are not supported and will NOT work with our USB HOST Module. You can determine if your device has a built-in hub by running the free Windows program USB Tree Viewer. If, when you plug in your MIDI device, it appears as a new hub plus one or more devices then it will not work with our USB Host Module.
